MPoop3 Player
Well, I got my mp3 player in the mail yesterday. I was so happy, and so proud of myself for my first successful eBay purchase. And then it didn't work. After communicating twice with tech support (via email, blah) I heard back with some steps, all of which I had already tried. I should work for tech support! And the instruction booklet? Not written by anyone with permanent or temporary residence in the United States, thats for sure. Or the UK. Or Australia. No, no, written by person far, far away. Let's see, would anyone like a very small peek? Sure you do!
1. Please power on the player before insert USB cable. Then turn on the player.
2. It will "Update" & format simultaneously if there is "tick" in front of "Format Data Area", it will delete all documents in the player. otherwise, process "Update" only & keep the documents in the player.
3. Compare to other schemes, SIGMATEL has high integration functions. It is durable, reliable. Besides this, the extraordinary feature is it could be upgraded to high software versions at any time without changing hardware. It brings the unstable factor too: MP3 player's software could be corrupted if the PC's power is unstable, or the power cut off in a sudden, or pull off the player from USB during PC's data transportation. The player won't work when software is corrupted."
4. Pull out MP3 player from USB after finish the above operations.
5. When charges, the player push "charge" button to "on" state, it can't transfer any data when charge by PC. Push the button to "off" to stop charge. To connect with PC and transfer data, it takes 4-5 hrs to charge by PC's USB port.
6. When the player is on, press "+" or "-" to adjust volume. and the volume changes by adjusting "+" or "-", as the screen shows below.
And, my personal favorite, copied directly from the manual like all the rest:
7. You can listen to your single or favorite song's section by this function. And you can select the section by "REC" button. (It could help you a lot to study English.)

End of my cohabitation period with this player. No pun...I'm not shacking up with a "player".
